October is Museum Month!

On behalf of the Board of Directors and our dedicated staff, I write to ask for your continued support of the Hellenic Museum of Michigan. Since 2013, the Hellenic has been a place where history is remembered, our culture is celebrated, and where art meets purpose. 

The Hellenic represents both a place and a promise in our community. It’s a place unlike any other in our country - nestled in the heart of Detroit’s Cultural Center - where our heritage helps shape the arts in meaningful and creative ways. And it’s a promise, from a group of community and spiritual leaders who once dared to dream of a legacy that honors the memory of the people, lessons, and sacrifices that shape the contours of our collective identity. 

Today, I ask that you consider your own place in our community, your promise to it, and your dreams for its future.
