CALL FOR ART: Hellenic Art Exhibition-Odyseey of Colors

The Hellenic Museum of Michigan invites artists to submit work for the Hellenic Art Exhibition: Odyssey of Colors.

Join us as we celebrate artistic journeys, cultural heritage, and contemporary interpretations of Hellenism through visual art during this unthemed exhibition.

Eligibility

Submissions are welcome from:

• Artists of Greek descent

• Artists of non-Greek descent whose work is inspired by Greek culture, history, mythology, or the Greek spirit

Artists working in a wide range of styles and media are encouraged to apply.

Key Dates (2026)

• Call for Art Submission Deadline: May 15, 2026

• Artist Notifications: By May 18, 2026

• Artwork Drop-Off: May 23–24, 2026

• Exhibition Opens: June 5, 2026

• Opening Reception: To Be Announced

• Exhibition Closes: October 25, 2026

Submission Requirements

• Artists may submit up to five (5) digital images of the artwork selected for exhibition.

• Images must be in JPG format.

• Each image file must be named using the artist’s last name and artwork title.

• Submissions must include:

  • Artist’s full name

  • Dimensions of each work

  • A brief artist biography
